The Benefit of Reading Durood Shareef Aloud

Once a person saw his sinful neighbour in a dream.  He saw that his neighbour was in Paradise.  He asked him “How did you receive this status?” 

The sinful neighbour replied, “Once I was in an Ijtima (Islamic gathering) and the Muhaddith said in the speech, “Whichever person reads Durood Shareef in a loud voice, Paradise becomes Waajib (necessary) on him”. 

After hearing this, I started reading Durood Shareef aloud and everybody, upon hearing me, started to read Durood Shareef also.  Due to this action, Allah (az’zawajal) forgave me together with all the people in that gathering.
